My whole brand was born & built in DTLA. The area and the people gave me such incredible energy! I was ’in the zone’ for over 17 years making an insane amount of music – NCIS, Mercedes, CSI, Samsung, KUWTK, Real World, 90210, The Mentalist, Lie To Me, Basketball Wives, Lowes, Dish, Zeiss etc…… collaborated with Grammy Winners and some of my favorite musicians (including Reeves Gabrels/The Cure and Oscar Hernandez/Spanish Harlem Orchestra and Rod Jackson/Slash’s Snakepit), recorded voice-overs for Disney On Broadway (Jesse Tyler Ferguson), Karen Black (Hitchcock) and also recorded Scottie Pippen (Basketball Hall Of Fame), did drum samples for Kiss & Slash and an intro for Van Halen…. to name just a few. I had my Penthouse there for 19 years. Recently a major issue changed and destroyed the incredible vibe and possibility to continue being there making music/being creative. Just insane & unbelievable! My era in DTLA is done! I spent some time in Studio City this year (thanx Al) and recently decided to completely change it up and move to Palm Springs!
